Thas’s Family Photo Shoot

Thas’s Family Photos 04/05/2025 Thas’s Family Photo Session Every 10 years, around Thas’s wedding anniversary representing another decade of marital bliss. He looks around and finds a local photo studio to book some updated family photos. Thas. his wife, two daughters and son-in-law all rocked up at Studio Exposja in the perfect outfit for a photo session. I could tell immediately that their family was close and they enjoyed each others company. Such a wonderful feeling when conducting these photos when everyone is relaxed and having fun. Thas received over 300 images, all edited and enhanced from the 90 minutes photo session. Perfect outfits for a family photo shoot The best way to ensure your family photo sessions work out perfectly is to coordinate (never easy with various family members) the outfits you will all be wearing on the day. My best advice is to ensure no mater what you wear, to make sure of two elements: To all wear similar coloured clothing, especially tops / shirts / blouses etc. This way no one stands out and the colours show a uniformity to the photo session And more importantly, for all members wear clothing of similar formality i.e. all in formal, all in casual, all in evening wear etc For Thas’s family they absolutely nailed this with variations of green being worn (before changing into a hue of blue) and Thas’s wifes green Saree was the centre piece of the attire of the day. What Thas Had to say: Thank you Marty @Studio Esposja for helping us with our family photos. You were super accommodating and took a load of great shots to capture all of us to mark a special memory! Photos turned out to be great and a big thank you!Highly recommend Marty! RCD Charity Golf Day 2025

RCD Golf Day April 25, 2025 The RCD Charity Golf day at Victoria Golf Club I’ve been working with the Robert Conor Dawes – Connor’s Run Charity Golf Day for a couple of years and Victoria Golf Club, being one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in Australia, is alwaysthe perfect setting for such a great day and wonderful cause. The format is typical, Ambrose golf consisting if groups of off with a shotgun start – meaning each groups starts on a different hole around the course so they all finish at the same time. My role is to take photos of the action, make a video and this is the kicker.. have that video fully edited and ready to play as the golfers finish their round and sit down for the evening meal. No pressure then.. Capturing The RCD Golf Day – What’s Involved… The first order of the day is securing a golf cart as without it it makes life very difficult. Ideally a golf cart that has an in-built GPS map which makes navigating around the course easier. On the cart I have my drone, controller and iPad, long lens camera, Insta 360 on a small tripod, Ronin gimbal with camera, all ready to go and capture the content. Charity days are fun as no one minds too much if you are a little annoying whilst players are taking their shots. I try and cover as many groups as possible and the main challenge is going in the opposite way of travel (which is harder than it seems on a golf course as they are all set up in one direction) in order to get a mix of groups. Otherwise the footage is of the same groups. I use the drone in many different ways, counter-intuitively I find the best use of the drone is getting low and close to golfers, especially around the green and on the t-box. I need to leave the course when the golfers are just over half way round to give me around 2 hours to download the footage and start the editing process. This sounds easier than it sounds as different groups will be further progressed than others. Prior to finishing up I allow myself a little trick and getting those finishing on the 18th to shake hands so I can get the final clip for the video. Then I find a quiet place in the clubhouse, plug everything in and start the editing process. The opening and closing screens and music I will have prepared earlier. There is no point in stressing or rushing as there is only myself that can control the outcome so I just get in the zone and thrash it out. Luckily there are always a few stragglers coming off the course which gives me a bit of extra time! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RWSG9sTUFE Photos from the Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day RCD Golf Day Related News RCD Charity Golf Day 2025 May 14, 2025 Skin Check 360 May 14, 2025 Photography course May 4, 2025 Capturing ANZAC Day April 25, 2025
Skin Check 360

Skin Check 360 March 19, 2025 Skin Check 360 at Yarra Trail Medical Centre Yarra Trail Medical Centre, in Briar Hill is a modern and progressive medical centre services the general needs of the local community. However they have decided to be bold and invest in a space age looking Skin Check 360 machine that is only one of a handful in the whole of Australia including the top cancer centres and specialist facilities. The Skin Check 360 machine takes up a whole room and Erin and Peter the practice owners, wanted some photos and videos especially that articulates what the machine does, the benefits and process. Capturing The Skin Check 360 – What’s Involved… The Skin Check 360 takes up almost the whole of a normal medical centre consultation room so there wasn’t a lot of room to work in. it was also very echoey so having good lavalier microphones was essential to get a crisp audio. I brought with me two portable lights and they helped just to shine a little fill light on to the subjects faces however boosting the exposure compensation to 1.3 or even 1.7 is a must in such a white, high key setting. In settings like these I always use two camera, the main camera, with the microphone receiver and my stable which is a second camera, on a gimbal, attached to a monopod for stability. Two cameras give you a lot of scope when editing and also in keeping the footage fluid. I also spent time getting general footage of the Skin Check 360 and Erin sent through screen recordings of the software to use as overlays on the videos. These worked really well. I also did a little vertical video so they have a social media friendly version as well. In terms of the stills, i use my trusty Godox on-camera flash which I find awesome for giving off a strong blanket of light. Overall I was pleased with how the videos came up, hopefully these will go a little way to people getting their skin checked and hopefully saving further treatment in the future, https://youtube.com/shorts/H7BUCvnHlxAhttps://youtube.com/shorts/WS8QHQEuBsIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZKrKqhqZlkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpH-EnysJOohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXuyOgGlKMk Photos from the Day Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Skin Check 360 Related News Skin Check 360 May 14, 2025 Photography course May 4, 2025 Capturing ANZAC Day April 25, 2025 RCD Charity Golf Day March 19, 2025
Capturing ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day March 19, 2025 ANZAC Day 2025 – Montmorency Eltham RSL Another year and another wonderfully organised and moving ceremony on ANZAC Day 2025 in both the Dawn Service at Eltham Cenotaph, followed by the Were Street March and the Family Service at Montmorency Eltham RSL. Ash Graham – President MERLS gave an honest oration on what happened at Gallipoli and what that tragic battle meant for the culture of Australia as a nation. Capturing The Day – What’s Involved… Capturing these live events is very challenging on many different levels. The key aspect is being in multiple places at any given time whilst also ensuring that you are super respectful to everything that is happening around you. People set their alarms to pay respects, not to look at a guy fumbling with his equipment. A big game changer for me is having the INSTA 360 camera set up near the stage. Although not the original intention of this camera (moreso for sports and action type video) I can set it up to get the stage and the crowd in one spot. It also has an infinity recording function which means once I set record, it doesn’t turn off (unlike DSLR cameras that stop recording after 30 mins) Getting the drone up at both services was a great way to see how many people have attended and to give the footage an element of scale. No one noticed it at the family service and I found the adjacent bowls club an ideal take-off and landing spot. The editing for these services is massively challenging as I essentially reverse engineer and find the right audio soundtrack from the day, then back-fill the footage on top. Lastly the Sony 70-200mm M2 lens works so well to capture the stills on days like today. So much versatility and at a constant f2.8, you create some wonderful bokeh’s whilst isolating the subject crisply. I am always proud to capture these days and hope these digital souvenirs will live long in the RSL and communities library’s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkoHpmnjUFMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjlNl6uHy9Y Photos from the Day ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL ANZAC Day 2025 – MERSL Related News Photography course May 4, 2025 PCF Content for 9 News May 1, 2025 Capturing ANZAC Day April 25, 2025 RCD Charity Golf Day March 19, 2025 Load More
